One Direction’s Liam Payne definitely knows how to make the most of the band’s downtime following their world tour.
The 21-year-old arrived in Los Angeles on Sunday after spending quality time with his family and friends in the U.K.
The “Steal My Girl” singer even made time to joke about finding a replacement for Zayn Malik.
He posted a video of an unknown man singing Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” inside the karaoke bar that Payne was visiting.
“New fifth member? I think so,” he captioned the video.
Payne previously admitted to The Sun that they feel “gutted” that Malik decided to leave the band.
Nonetheless, One Direction’s Liam Payne said that the remaining members are “confident and determined to carry on stronger than ever.” Malik left his band mates last March in the middle of their “On the Road Again” world tour because of stress.
He claims that he wants to be a normal 22-year-old who can relax away from the glare of publicity.
Recently, the 22-year-old changed his Twitter handle from @zaynmalik1D to just @zaynmalik.
While One Direction’s Liam Payne still feels positive, Malik’s departure allegedly made his former band mates think about their future.
“Zayn leaving struck a nerve with the others,” claimed one source to Star magazine.
“Everyone around them thought Harry would be the first to leave, and he is close with so many different people in the industry.” ” Now it feels like there’s more pressure on the others to carve out potential solo careers.
They have gone from boys to men and are thinking about their futures.” Morgan Spurlock, who got the chance to work with the British crooners on their “This Is Us” documentary, has an idea of who will leave the band next.
“I think they’ll stay together for a little bit longer and I think at some point Harry will probably leave.
He’ll probably be next.”
