Aaron Rodgers proved that he’s a knight in a shining armor as he stepped in for Olivia Munn after she had to bow out of the “Jeopardy” celebrity edition.
The ace quarterback talked to ESPN Wisconsin to recount how he landed at the “Jeopardy” celebrity edition.
Apparently, the producers of the show originally wanted “Newsroom” actress Olivia Munn to be in the show.
And that’s when her boyfriend Aaron Rodgers, a self-confessed “Jeopardy” geek, stepped in.
“She was like, ‘I don’t really want to this.
I was like, ‘I will do that! Tell your people I will do it!'” he said.
“I always watch the show.
It’s one thing I enjoy doing every day in the offseason that I’m here.
It’s on at 6 o’clock, and I usually have it DVR’d if I have to miss it.” Olivia Munn’s boyfriend’s gamble paid off as Aaron Rodgers won big for charity for the “Jeopardy” celebrity edition, over “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary and astronaut Mark Kelly. The ace quarterback took home $50,000 for Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer.
Talking about his experience, he said, “It was a lot of fun.
It was something I dreamt about doing for a long time and I was excited about the opportunity.” Also, Aaron Rodgers found some secrets about the show.
“There’s a lot to it that you don’t quite understand watching at home, that doesn’t come through your TV.
For one, there’s a practice game played right before that, and I kind of wish they’d have shown that one.
I had like $30,000 on going into Final Jeopardy,” he narrated.
Olivia Munn also showed her support for boyfriend Aaron Rodgers as the “Magic Mike” actress took to Instagram to write, “Like.
