One of the most-anticipated release dates in the gaming scene this year comes from “No Man’s Sky” and indie studio Hello Games are reportedly preparing for a big announcement within the month.
According to post by the Tech Times , rumors say that the release date of “No Man’s Sky” may come as early as this month, as the studio is scheduled to appear at the upcoming Sony’s Paris Games Week.
Rumors and speculations rise after the independent game studio postponed their appearance at the GameCity Festival.
“We realise how disappointing this news is for fans of both the game and the festival, but we hope they can take some comfort in the fact that No Man’s Saturday WILL be being rescheduled for a later date,” Hello Games in an official press release at the official website of the GameCity site.
“We’re really sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and we know you’ll understand that we wouldn’t be postponing this unless it was absolutely unavoidable.”
Furthermore, the release date of “No Man’s Sky” was also hinted by Amazon recently after they sent an email to gamers who pre-ordered the game, saying that the game would arrive at their doorsteps by Oct. 28.
However, a fan from Reddit named Cletus_Banjo revealed that Amazon hastily fixed their slip up with a follow up email to make up for the possible misleading announcement.
“That e-mail was sent by mistake,” the redditor said. “We still haven’t been given a release date for this item by the publisher. You’ll receive another e-mail from us soon to confirm that we don’t have a release date yet.”
While waiting for the release date of “No Man’s Sky,” Movie Pilot posted a 20-minute gameplay video of the upcoming title and could be seen below.
The game is slated for a release in 2016 and will be available for the PlayStation 4 and the PC.
