The Nexus 9 release date is just around the corner in most countries, but for India, that day should have come already.
Previously, there were reports of a release date on November 12, but no tablet arrived that day.
However, a new report tells us that the release date could have been rescheduled and should hit stores in the next few weeks. According to a report by GSM Arena , an insider has tipped that the new Nexus slate has been shipped to the Asian subcontinent.
The info is available in Zauba , the website that tracks the imports and exports in the country. In the report, there were 2000 units shipped to India, which was priced at $705,000 USD as a whole, or $352.44 each. The report also mentions the actual pricing for the Nexus 9 16GB which is $468.47 while the LTE-powered model and boasts 32GB of internal memory costs $727.83. In case you missed the announcement more than a month ago, the Nexus 9 is the first Google tablet manufactured by HTC.
And knowing the Taiwanese manufacturer, some of the strong points of the slate include its premium design and aluminum chassis, which were not in previous versions of Nexus 7. The device boasts an 8.9-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB of RAM and a Tegra K1 chipset from NVIDIA.
