Scare is the name of the game come Halloween. With kids, roaming the streets to trick-or-treat, Netflix, on the other hand, also have some serious treats for those addicted to movies come next weekend.
According to Moviepilot , for those who want to be terrified and want to see gore, they should watch “Saw” that is about a sadistic killer who got two men locked up to solve some puzzles if they want to live. Another one is “From Dusk Till Dawn,” which is a 1996 classic about robbers who got trapped in a bar that’s filled with vampires. There is also the “Children of the Corn” that is about a small town that only has children, who keep sacrificing people they come across with to a demon.
But if you want to be just as terrified minus all the bloody works, Fox 8 , listed some thriller Halloween movies that you can also find on Netflix or any other streaming sites. It included “The Silence of the Lambs” that is about a serial killer who also happened to be a cannibal. Another is “The Den” in which simple video chatting turned out terribly wrong. There is also the movie “Come Back To Me” that is about a woman who gets blackouts and finds out the horrible truth behind it.
For those who grew up in the 90s, slasher movies like the “Scream” franchise or footage horror film like “The Blair Witch Project” will be a good treat this Halloween on Netflix as told by Bustle . The report also suggested some family friendly flicks to let the kids enjoy movie night after some trick-or-treating. Among them are “The Addams Family” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
The Hollywood Reporter , meanwhile, listed movies that not really scary but still revolved around the theme of Halloween. It includes the Disney movie “Hocus Pocus” about three witches who came back to life and wreaks havoc in a small town, “Ghostbusters” that is about a group of men who makes a living out of catching ghosts and “Beetlejuice” that is about a prankster ghost that’s been hired to scare off new owners of a house.
