‘NCIS’ Season 12 Finale Spoilers: Which Fan-Favorite Character Will Leave After Ziva Actress Cote de Pablo’s Exit?

Dedicated fans who are still committed to “NCIS” even after the beloved character Ziva left the show may be shocked to hear that another fan-favorite character will leave the show during the “NCIS” season 12 finale.

Find out more details in spoilers below!

According to the official synopsis, “NCIS” season 12 “ends with NCIS feverishly investigating a global terrorist group that is recruiting teens via the Internet, following a deadly bombing overseas that resulted in an emotional and surprising loss for the team.” The finale episode, titled “Neverland,” airs on May 12.

Emily Wickersham, who plays Ellie Bishop, gave FOX411 some juicy spoilers about fans can expect in the “NCIS” season 12 finale – but those who are still mourning the loss of Cote de Pablo’s character Ziva might not be happy to hear what’s coming next: the loss of another fan-favorite character.

“I don’t want to give too much away,” Wickersham said .

“We leave it as a cliffhanger and there will be more to come in the beginning of next season, especially after ‘Neverland.’ It will ramp up in the first few episodes of the next season, and it will be surprising.” According to Wickersham, a character will die in next week’s “NCIS” season 12, episode 24.

“We lose someone who the team is really fond of,” she said.

“I know a lot of fans really love this character.

I think it will be quite a shock.

So, there is motivation that comes with that death.” As we previously reported, 33-year-old, Chilean-born actress Cote de Pablo left  “NCIS” after the premiere of season 11.

CBS CEO Les Moonves insists that the network tried hard to keep the actress on the show for season 11 by offering to increase her salary.

“We offered Cote de Pablo a lot of money, and then we offered her even more money,” Moonves told reporters at the Television Critics Association fall TV previews Monday.

“We really didn’t want to lose her.

We love her; we think she was terrific.

Ultimately she decided she didn’t want to do the show.” She recently starred in the CBS mini-series “The Dovekeepers.” Will you be sad to see another “NCIS” character leaving the show? Who do you predict has numbered days? Let us know in the comments section below!
