The new Oppo R7 has become as one of the much-anticipated phone releases this year.
In line with this, while fans are waiting for its release date, rumors and speculations among fans and experts emerged.
In addition, leaked photos of the phone revealed an edge-to-edge screen that leaves the smartphone bezel less.
GSM Arena posted photos of the upcoming phone, which is believed to have specs of a MediaTek MT6795 chipset and a 20.7MP camera.
The R7 is also expected to be at its thinnest form, as it is revealed to have an ultra slim 4.85 mm body.
Meanwhile, as pointed out by the same source , a leaked video of the phone showcased how the new octa-core phone would look like.
Fans were quick to react in an online forum at XDA Developers, stating that the bezel less design could be hard to use because of the screen, which can cover the movability of the user’s hand.
“It may look great but when it comes to usability I see a problem where your hands might cover the corner pixels,” user devspace said.
“Just in case if you are interested to see the whole picture…
And not to forget, you get to trigger some unintended touch to the screen as well.” “My feeling is that, all things being equal, the more screen I can get while still fitting my hand, the better,” user hella 356 claimed.
“A design like this could probably squeeze a 5.3″ screen in the same width as my 5″ GS4, something I would welcome.
Could be fragile, though.”
