It was released on last week as part of its release date launch, but a few gamers on social media sites have already took to complaining with some of the update’s features.

Minecraft developer Mojang Studios released a gameplay snapshot of “The Bountiful Update” for the game’s 1.8 update.

“It’s time for us to pre-release the next major Minecraft update he Bountiful Update! This will bring Minecraft to version 1.8, and should be officially be published in the launcher on Tuesday, September 2.

This is the update that to date has taken the longest time to create (over 300 days), and is the result of many, many changes,” Jens Bergensten of Mojang Studios wrote in the company’s blog, the Ecumenical News reports.

“These changes consist of both new features, and large game structure changes such as replacing the hard-coded ‘block renderer’ with a system that is able to read block shapes from data files, or performance enhancements such as multi-threading the client-side chunk rendering.

Some of the fixes included in 14w34c include “speeding up baby animal growth does not consume growth/breeding item,” “ender dragon experience drops are not affected by doMobLoot gamerule” and “item and XP drops are sucked towards the player’s feet instead of their chest/torso,” Mojan published on its website.
