With the “Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain” release date coming near, new details about the Konami title has been revealed.
In a recent report by Gamepur , the game has been given a R18+ rating with its mature content, which includes “mild nudity and moderate sexual themes” by the Australian Rating Board.
Included in the mature themes are expected from the online interactivity of the said game.
In line with this, the game is reportedly to be sold to gamers aged 18 years and above.
Meanwhile, in a report by Movie Pilot , even though Hideo Kojima and Konami had their own rifts, the director and creator of the game is reportedly still in full involvement with the release date of the “MGS” title.
“I want to reassure fans that I am 100% involved and will continue working on ‘Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain,’ I’m determined to make it the greatest game I’ve directed to date,” Kojima announced.

“The latest title in the Metal Gear series, ‘Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain,’ will be released as planned starting on Tuesday, September 1st, 2015 in North America, Latin America, and Europe, followed by Japan and Asia on Wednesday, September 2nd.
