Marvel Comics’ Guillotine is the name of their newest superhero.
It seems like Marvel Comics is on a roll with the number of new superheroes they’re coming up with. Those who attended NYCC, or the New York Comic Con, were able to get a glimpse of a brand new character.
Gamezone reported that during the demo of the mobile game “Marvel Contest Of Champions,” the development team revealed Marvel Comics’ new character Guillotine. She is a French/Algerian fighter who has a unique weapon, a sword that drinks the blood of its enemies. Apparently, when Guillotine cuts through an enemy, the sword absorbs his blood.
It is noted that Guilllotine is a hero, however, her sword is the one that is evil. The sword reportedly once belonged to her father before it was passed on to her when he passed. As the new owner of the sword, she now has the ability to call the ghosts of the past users to encircle her and her opponents to conduct a simultaneous attack.
Marvel Comics’ Guillotine has flaming red hair and wears a red and black outfit with a red cape. A black armor-like mask covers her face and she carries a massive sword. She’s a fighter who likes to attack from a close range but she is also able to use her sword at a distance. This makes her a threat to enemies and a strong character to use in the mobile game.
In other news, “Contest Of Champions” may become a comic book series and will be coming directly from the “All-New All-Different” Marvel Universe. There will be new characters, fresh ideas and stories and very important tie-ins that will be important to the larger Marvel Universe, as noted by Marvel.
