Since the confirmation of Manny Pacquiao vs.
Floyd Mayweather, two teams have been formed, those who believes Pacquiao will win and vice versa.
Now, Floyd proclaimed that he will knock out Manny Pacquiao in five rounds.
However, Pacquiao is doing the necessary to avoid that from happening.
According to celebtricity , Mayweather said that he will one-up Juan Manuel Marquez by knocking out Pacquiao in the fifth round.
Marquez was able to knock-out Pacquiao in the sixth round of their last match.
Mayweather said, “Look, if Marquez knocked Pacquiao out like that in the sixth, then I guarantee I’ll have him out by the fifth because I beat Marquez like a Slave.
He’s not getting up, Jim.
He’s not getting up.” However, Pacquiao is doing every means to make Floyd Mayweather eat his words.
Last Monday, Pacquiao’s camp announced that former UFC fighter Dashon Johnson will be one of Pacquiao’s sparring partners.
The former UFC fighter talked about how he ended up on this gig via Bleacher Report .
“I used to train at Wild Card, obviously for a few years, and me and Freddie have a pretty good relationship, and I actually came to him and offered my assistance,” Johnson explains.
“At first it was a little shaky, but after actually going in there a few times, he saw what I could bring to the table, and that’s when he decided to keep me in camp, and that’s why I’m here.” “Honestly, it’s a dream come true,” Johnson said.
“Watching Manny over the years and seeing him progress and him actually having me in camp for arguably the biggest fight in history, it’s honestly a blessing, and I couldn’t be more happy to be here,” he added.
It is no guarantee that Pacquiao will have a higher chance of winning despite training with a UFC fighter.
Nevertheless, both fighters will have the chance to showcase everything on May 2 and it will be interesting to know who will have the last laugh.
