The “Train to Busan” superstar is planning a charity bazaar with his fans. According to a report by Soompi , Gong Yoo’s management, Soop Enmtertainment said that his next fan meeting will be an even more special one compared to his previous events. The fan meeting will double as a charity bazaar which the actor has long been planning.
The statement from Soop Enterianment said that Gong Yoo wanted to get close to his fans by sharing the experience of doing good with them. All the proceeds coming from the event will be donated to the needy but details on the location, date and actual activities are still in the planning stages. Gong Yoo, one of the most popular actors in the Korean entertainment industry has recently wrapped his commitment with “Goblin”, a fantasy drama that earned record breaking ratings reaching a peak of 20 percent audience share. Fans are clamoring for news on his next project but his management remained tight lipped and hinted only that he could be working on a new film this year. Gong Yoo is one of the Korean celebrities who is well loved not just locally but all around the world because of his naturally friendly demeanor when interacting with his supporters. He even winked cheekily at a fan who was secretly filming during one the events promoting his movie “The Age of Shadows” which earned him the nickname “King of Fanservice” on social media, Koreaboo reported.
