Marvel boss Kevin Feige discusses “Inhumans,” the studios’ upcoming team of superheroes.
Following the success of “Guardians of the Galaxy,” Marvel is set to introduce another team of lesser known superheroes to their Cinematic Universe.
But long before their big screen debut in 2019, the “Inhumans” have already made their way to television.
Feige addresses the issue in an exclusive interview with Flickering Myth .
“I think they’re beginning to seed a lot of that in the ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ show, Feige said.
“But the notion from the comics that I think is interesting, is the notion of needing to have this DNA that could be activated by the [Terrigen] Mists, which is what’s so cool about Inhumans to me.” Meanwhile, Chris Pratt who played Star Lord in “GOTG” is rumored to appear in the film.
“I am tied to doing three more, or five more – ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ or whatever it is, you know – two more ‘Guardians’ plus another couple,” Pratt revealed in an interview with GQ, according to Breathe Cast .
According to Slash Film , it is likely that the “Parks & Recreation” star will make an appearance in “Avengers: Infinity War,” as he holds one of the power stones.
Thanos, who has been confirmed the main antagonist of the “Infinity War” installlments, is hunting down the stones to complete his Infinity Gauntlet.
The report also indicated that Pratt will possibly appear in “Inhumans,” a movie that will feature a team of super-humans created by Kree, the blue-skinned alien race from “Guardians of the Galaxy.” For those unfamiliar with the comic book, the “Inhumans” are originally humans that have been experimented on by the militaristic alien race.
Now super powered beings, they settle on a land called Attilan, keeping their existence secret from other civilizations.
“Inhumans” will debut in theaters on Jul.
