Keira Knightley and her husband James Righton probably had a good laugh after she received a proposal during her Broadway debut in “Therese Raquin”. The actress most likely doesn’t regret leaving the silver screens to join the fun of live theatre.
So this is how the proposal during her Broadway debut went. According to People , “According to multiple reports, mere minutes into the show, a young man in the mezzanine stood up and started shouting as he made his way to the railing. While at first fellow audience members thought he was part of the play, it quickly became clear that his outburst was directed at the British actress.”
James Righton probably executed a much more romantic proposal.
When the disrupter threw a bouquet of roses onto the stage, Keira’s trusty scene partner Gabriel Elbert kicked it off stage. Sounds like he is a dependable fictional husband!
But on the flip side, Keira Knightley will have a very entertaining story to tell her baby Edie when she recalls her Broadway debut in “Therese Raquin”.
She just had her first baby just four months ago, but that isn’t stopping the British actress from conquering Broadway play as well as heating up the romance with her husband James Righton.
According to Daily Mail , “sleepless nights aren’t getting in the way of Keira Knightley and her rocker husband James Righton’s passion for each other, with the pair looking utterly enamoured as they took four-month-old Edie for a stroll in New York on Monday.”
Although the actress is playing a bad wife in “Therese Raquin”, it looks like she is nothing short of a sweet and attentive partner to James Righton.
Her husband James Righton came to New York with his wife and baby so that he can be supportive throughout her rehearsal and performance period. What a stand-up dad!
