As Kate Middleton’s due date draws near, it seems that tensions are running high at Kensington Palace.
Carole Middleton, Kate Middleton’s mother, has been living with the royal family to take care of her daughter who is well into her third trimester.
But instead of appreciating her presence, Prince William wants his mother-in-law to leave them alone, according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry .
The relationship of the Middleton family with London’s royal family has always been the topic of much speculation.
Rumors have swirled that Queen Elizabeth, William’s grandma, and even Camilla Parker Bowles, William’s stepmother, have not taken a liking to the Middletons.
The prince, for the most part, has seemed like he is putting an effort in getting along with his in-laws.
But if the latest news is to be believed, William is growing tired of Carole Middleton, and feels that she has worn out her welcome.
” It seems Duchess Kate’s mom Carole has been staying at Kensington Palace to help Kate prepare for Royal Baby 2.0 in April, and she is driving her son-in-law crazy,” writes Celebrity Dirty Laundry .
“Kate’s mom means well, but William could really use a break from the in-laws.
Carole has pretty much taken over,” the source adds.
“She has even been nagging Prince William about cleaning up the dinner dishes.” The Middleton’s have been slammed in the past for using Kate’s royal status in getting some attention for themselves.
Even Pippa, Kate’s sister, has been targeted by the tabloids for trying to hog some of the limelight that her sister’s royal connections have afforded her.
The duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth to their second child late this April.
There have been no confirmed reports about the baby’s gender, but people have been taking wagers on what the baby name will be, with the frontrunner being “Alice.” Should these reports of Carole Middleton’s meddling ways be true, fans are wondering if it could be farfetched to think that she might be campaigning for the royal baby to be named after her?
