K-pop boy band Boyfriend successfully finished their tour in Europe on May 25.
The group’s world tour began in November of 2014.
After touring in Asia and Central and South America, BOYFRIEND performed in Helsinki, Finland, Moscow, Russia, and Paris, France and confirmed K-pop’s growing popularity.
Paris in particular became filled with intense excitement with a signboard event the fans prepared.
One fan even fainted in the heat and shocked those at the concert.
“Korean Wave hasn’t quite reached Europe yet, but the number of K-pop fans are increasing as many Korean artists including Boyfriend are beginning to perform there.
We’re happy that we could contribute,” read a statement from Starship Entertainment on Tuesday posted on the Korean news website OSEN.
Boyfriend showed off their distinctive music and stylish performances in Europe.
“Bounce” and “Witch” were the most popular tracks.
The group left a message on their official Twitter for their fans after the concert as well that read, “BOYFRIEND Europe Tour is finally finished!Thank you always for your love and support! Look forward to our next concert!”
