Justin Timberlake gave praise to his pregnant wife Jessica Biel as he won the Innovator Award during the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
“I said I wouldn’t cry,” he quipped.
While he imparted knowledge on up-and-coming artists to follow their dreams and be who they are, Justin Timberlake saved the best for last.
“You can’t have innovation without creation, so finally, I want to thank my best friend, my favorite collaborator – my wife, Jessica, at home, who’s watching,” he said per Daily Mail .
“Honey, I can’t wait to see our greatest creation yet.
Don’t worry, Daddy’s heading home right now to innovate by learning how to change a poopy diaper and get my swaddle on.” With the pregnant actress due anytime now, Jessica Biel couldn’t make the trip to watch her husband accept the Innovator Award.
Addressing the young people in the audience, as well as the millions watching the awards show, Justin Timberlake said per Hollywood Life , “Growing up in school, nobody called me close to an innovator.
They called me different.
They called me weird.
They called me a couple other words I can’t say on TV.” “If you’re a young person, like I used to be and you’re at home and you’re being called weird or different, I’m here to tell you your critics do not count.
Their words will fade.
You won’t,” he added.
On his birthday, Justin Timberlake addressed the reports that Jessica Biel is pregnant.
In an Instagram post, where Justin Timberlake shared a black and white photo of him kissing Jessica Biel’s baby bump, he wrote: “Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER.
#BoyOrGirl #YouNeverKnow #WeDontEvenKnow #WeAreTakingBets.” According to a report from OK! Magazine , Justin Timberlake might be cutting down on appearances and gigs with Jessica Biel pregnant and also to be able to become a “hands-on” father.
“The transformation has been quite incredible.
Not only does he pamper Jessica 24/7, he also has been reading up on fatherhood the whole time and has totally transformed his lifestyle,” the source told the magazine.
