Just Cause 3 release date set for next year! The sequel to 2010 game Just Cause 2 from Avalanche Studios was confirmed to be in the works.
US magazine Game Informer announced that Just Cause 3 will be their cover game for the month of December officially revealing that the open-world adventure game is currently in development.
Furthermore, the Just Cause 3 release date is also set to happen at some point in 2015.
Just Cause 3 will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC next year and according to The Sixth Axis, it will “see the return on the grappling hook and parachute, with a new addition being the wingsuit.” Though little details were revealed about the upcoming PS4, Xbox One and PC game from Avalanche Studios, Game Informer noted that Just Cause 3 will be set to “a fictional Mediterranean archipelago.” Express.co.uk noted that that the adventure game published by Eidos Interactive was able to sell six million units.
Just Cause 3’s predecessor was released in the North American market on March 23, 2010.
Accordingly, the second installment utilizes Avalanche Engine 2.0, the update version of the one used the original game.
As posted on Wikipedia, Just Cause 2, as described on the site is “set on the other side of the world from the original Just Cause, on the fictional island of Panau, which is located in Southeast Asia and covers 400 square miles of land.
