An exclusive “Jurassic World” clip from MTV reveals details about Chris Pratt’s character’s relationship with velociraptors.
Chris Pratt stars as Owen Grady in this year’s “Jurassic World,” the latest installment to the dinosaur action-adventure series.
As many already know, Grady is one of the park’s staff members who observes and shares a unique relationship with velociraptors, sometimes being able to lead them.
In the footage, Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas-Howard) consults with Owen about the new artificially made dinosaurs before the park exhibits them to tourists.
Along the way, Owen reveals that he doesn’t control the raptors, saying that’s its “a relationship based on mutual respect.” He goes on to explain that the hybrid dinosaurs, though man-made, are still wild creatures that “eat” and “hunt.” Most notable of the new dinosaurs is the hybrid Indominus Rex, set to be the scariest beast in the upcoming film.
According to the film’s official site , the Indominus Rex is “the most fearsome dinosaur ever to be displayed at ‘Jurassic World.'” Its “roar is estimated to reach 140-160db-the same as a 747 taking off and landing.” “Jurassic World” features Chris Pratt (Guradians of the Galaxy) as Owen Grady, Bryce Dallas-Howard (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt.
