Yaoi fans rejoice as popular series “Junjou Romantica” is months away from a return.
The series is sure to satisfy Yaoi appetites, as there hasn’t been many boys love series in the recent TV anime seasons.
“Junjou Romantica” season three is set to return to TV this July.
The previously announced staff and cast for the boys love series has been updated to include returning Usami family members and remaining sound and art staff members.
Additionally, announcements about the theme songs for the third season were also confirmed the current issue of Emerald magazine.
Fans in an ANN forum are expressing excitement at the prospect of another season of “Junjou Romantica.” “At least I now have one show to watch during the summer season.
Hopefully the 3rd season will inspire me to go back to the manga as I still get the occasional nag to carry on,” explained TsunaReborn.
“Yaoi for me to watch in the summer! I wish there would be a ‘Free’ season three as well,” commented Izu.
Anime News Network reports the following additional Japanese voice cast members: Nana Mizuki as Kaoruko Usami Noriko Namiki as Eri Aikawa Kishô Taniyama as Takahiro Takahashi Kousuke Toriumi as Haruhiko Usami Juurouta Kosugi as Fuyuhiko Usami Chiaki Kon, who will direct the series again at Studio DEEN, will be joined by the following additional staff members: Art Director: Hiromu Itou, Yuki Umino Color design: Saori Yoshida Director of Photography: Junko Sakai Editing: Masahiro Matsumura Sound director: Hozumi Gôda Sound effects: Noriko Izumo The opening theme entitled “Innocent Graffiti” will be performed by Fo’xTails while the ending them entitled “Kawaranai Sora” will be performed by Luck Life.
For those who are not familiar with “Junjou Romantica,” originally it was a manga series created by Shungiku Nakamura.
ANN provides the following description of the story: “Misaki is suddenly having some unexpected and odd problems.
What started as a need for some college entrance exam tutoring has somehow led him to being romanced by a suave older man who also happens to be his big brother’s best friend.
Confused by all of his brand new emotions, Misaki struggles to deal with his suddenly very odd life.
And if that wasn’t enough, his suitor, Usami, has plenty of issues of his own.
A man-child who decorates his room in giant teddy bears and toys, Usami is a famous novelist who also writes steamy boys’ love novels on the side.”
