Actor Joo Sang Wook is considering a role in the upcoming makeover drama tentatively titled “Birth of a Beauty.” Drawing some inspiration from the George Bernard Shaw play “Pygmalion,” that later became the film “My Fair Lady,” it’s the story of a man who makes over a woman into his image of the ideal female.
The makeover is so successful that the hero falls in love with his creation.
Joo, who recently appeared in the romantic comedy “Cunning Single Lady,” will play a volatile man named Han Tae Hee.
The heir to a conglomerate, Han Tae Hee is a man who was traumatized by a broken heart.
Fortunately, he finds a mission that gives him a reason to get up in the morning.
He decides to help an unhappy unattractive woman transform herself into a beauty.
