Jessica Jung’s fashion brand Blanc and Eclare continues to stand out among the rest of its competitors placing 6th on a recent list of the best celebrity entrepreneurship businesses in South Korea.
According to the list compiled by South Korean cable network tvN , Jessica currently sells her brand in about 40 stores placed all around Asia and has so far made quite a profit from her growing company.
The singer and designer made headlines after sales in one particular store reportedly accumulated a 10 million won (approximately $10,000 USD) profit in a single hour.
Blanc and Eclare is a fashion brand that hosts a variety of items but specializes in their eyewear.
Each pair of Blanc and Eclare sunglasses is based off the fashion trends emulated in certain countries.
The sunglasses are designed from Jessica’s impression of fashion in Hong Kong, Seoul, New York, Paris, Shanghai, and two editions of Tokyo.
Because of the high quality and designer style, the sunglasses run at about $250 USD a pair.
Aside from promoting stylish and chic eyewear, Blanc and Eclare takes part in the Help For Children campaign which helps bring awareness to issues of child abuse.
The goal of the organizations is to not only treat children who have suffered from abuse but also prevent it from happening in the future.
Blanc and Eclare provides a way for its customers to become a part of the campaign through a unique tactic.
During a certain amount of time, Blanc and Eclare allows for anyone to submit an eyewear design which will later be voted on among other submissions.
Once the design is chosen, 100% of the profits made from the winning design will be donated to the Help For Children organization.
Currently Blanc and Eclare is having a promotion where any customer that orders a pair of sunglasses through May 4 has the chance to get a signed pair by Jessica herself.
Success for Jessica’s brand is only continuing to grow as Blanc and Eclare is expected to release new items just in time for summer 2015 as well as this upcoming fall.
