Jennifer Lawrence has gotten extremely close to her “Hunger Games” co-stars over the past few years, particularly Hollywood heartthrobs Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.
JLaw recently opened up about her close relationship with BFF Liam and revealed that he taught her something really important for her career and for her life: how to stand up for herself.
“He actually taught me how to be fair and to stand up for myself,” Lawrence told Nylon magazine, referring to Hemsworth.
“It’s my biggest weakness: negotiating.
I’m a wimp about standing up for myself and Liam is always fair.
He’s always on time, he’s always doing his job, and he’s good about making sure that things stay fair.
He’s teaching me to toughen up a little bit.” “That was important,” admitted Lawrence.
“I need that.” While Hemsworth plays her character Katniss’s best friend Gale in the “Hunger Games” films, it seems Lawrence also considers the Australian actor her best friend in real life.
“I guess the thing that surprised me is that I would never expect to ever have a man this good-looking ever be my best friend,” said Lawrence, gushing about Hemsworth.
“I just would never assume those things could happen, but he is.
He’s the most wonderful, lovable, family-oriented, sweet, hilarious, amazing guy.” Although Lawrence, Hemsworth, and Hutcherson aren’t able to spend all day on set together now that they’re no longer filming for “Hunger Games,” the 24-year-old actress insists that the trio are remain as tight as ever.
“We’re still best friends with each other, and we talk to each other all the time-way too much-but it’s different,” confessed Lawrence.
“If all I had was this friendship with Josh and Liam-if that’s all I ever got from this-I would consider it a blessing.
Our lives changed together and we had each other.” How sweet! The fact that the “Hunger Games” brought these three cuties together is just another reason to love the kick-butt franchise!
