Jenna Coleman Confirmed For 'The Woman Who Lived' Doctor Who Season 9 Episode!

Although some Whovians were concerned that actress Jenna Coleman would not appear as Clara in “Doctor Who” Season 9 episode 6 titled “The Woman Who Lived,” those worries have been quashed.
Recently, Doctor Who TV confirmed the official episode synopsis for the episode, which features “Game of Thrones” actress Maisie Williams.

“England, 1651. The deadly Highwayman ‘The Nightmare’ and his sidekick stalk the dark streets of London,” read the synopsis.
“But when they find loot that’s not of this world, they come face to face with the Doctor. Who is the Nightmare in league with? And can the Doctor avoid the hangman’s noose and protect Earth from a devilish betrayal?”
While previously Coleman was allegedly not listed in the cast list, she has officially been confirmed for the episode.
“I’m glad to see Jenna in the cast list. I wasn’t really expecting her to be in ‘The Woman Who Lived’ given her absence from the read-through and filming, but as our time left with her is limited every episode counts,” commented The Lazy Cast. “Actually, I recall Steven saying that there’s a very emotional Doctor/Clara scene here if my memory serves me correctly.”
As previously reported, executive producer has affirmed that Williams’ character is not a returning character.
“One thing I think is worth saying, because it keeps coming up as an issue, is that she is not playing a returning character,” said Moffat. “She’s a new character, she’s not a character from the Doctor’s past.”
