Jason Mraz and Christina Carano have maintained the privacy of their wedding as they only invited 50 family members and friends.
According to E! News , the 38-year-old “I’m Yours” singer wed her long-time girlfriend on Sunday in a private ceremony at the Pole Green Historic Church in Mechanicsville where he grew up.
Based on the account of the site’s source, the matrimony was led by Terces Engelhart of Cafe Gratitude.
The source revealed that with the couple’s love for the outdoors, they are “set to honeymoon via a road trip, enjoying the autumn foliage along the way.”
The wedding was confirmed when Jason Mraz posted on Instagram a snap of Christina Carano in her wedding dress, which he captioned, “Today I was made the luckiest man in the world.”
The couple, who met in 2007 at a coffee shop formerly owned by the multi-awarded crooner’s wife in Hermosa Beach, California, disclosed that they only started dating in 2011.
“He’s the most loving, generous, and most hardworking man I know,” Chrisina Carano reportedly shared about Jason Mraz in the August issue of “The Osider.”
“These are the most attractive qualities I could ever ask for in a partner,” he added. “He inspires me and empowers me everyday to live my best life and he cares so deeply about the things that really matter.”
As for the source of “Us” magazine, “The couple chose to be a stand for love, as witnessed by a small gathering of close family and friends.”
In the meantime, the magazine noted (while still citing “The Osider”) that during the getting-to-know stage, Chrsitina Carano “was mostly an observer of his life.”
She further described her husband by describing how simple he is, “I’d get invited to his concerts and small gatherings at his house here in Oceanside where I’d think, ‘Of all the places he could be, he chose to live in nature amongst the avocado trees.'”
As for Jason Mraz, it is with Christina Carano that he “I felt an instant connection to her and have admired her integrity and practices since day on.”
