After last night’s controversial scene involving Sansa and Ramsay, many “Game of Thrones” viewers found it traumatizing, but what did Iwan Rheon and Sophie Turner think about it? Recently, both Rheon and Turner were interviewed to discuss episode six of “Game of Thrones” season five.
Despite the content, both actors had a sense of humor about the rape scene.
“When I read that scene, I kinda loved it,” said Sophie Turner to EW.
“I love the way Ramsay had Theon watching.
It was all so messed up.
It’s also so daunting for me to do it.” But what did Iwan Rheon, who portrays Ramsay Bolton, have to say about Ramsay breaking his promise to Littlefinger? “You shouldn’t really listen to Ramsay, especially when he’s trying to dupe someone,” said Rheon to Vulture.
“I think that’s one of the most interesting things about him, the way he’s so good at manipulation, and he’s a fantastic actor.
He’s better than me.” So what’s ahead for the newlywed Sansa and Ramsay on “Game of Thrones?” “There’s no way of understanding his motives or his thinking,” said Turner.
“So this season it’s also her trying to figure out his intentions and trying to please him.” For Ramsay, Rheon believes the recent pregnancy announcement by Roose Bolton will play heavily into his “Game of Thrones” season five arc.
“At the moment, he’s just figuring out the situation, and then at some point, he’ll probably make a move, whatever that will be,” added Rheon.
“It’ll probably be horrendous! If it’s for his gain, he doesn’t have any empathy for a little baby.
He doesn’t care.
He’s horrible! He’s a psycho bastard!”
