With new seasons of CW’s “The Flash” and “Arrow” not arriving until fall, DC fans can add the “Supergirl” TV series to their watch list.
According to former Supergirl Helen Slater, fans are going to love it as the show has a well-written script.
“You just never know because I played Supergirl in 1984, and that’s such a long time ago,” Slater said of “Supergirl” TV series via People .
“You hope that it won’t be cheesy, and it’s not at all.
It’s so sincere and lovely, and the writing is so good.
I think it’s going to be a big hit!” she added.
Moreover, “The Flash” and “Arrow” developer Greg Berlanti said that multiple writers are working on the “Supergirl” TV series which will be aired on CBS.
“Honestly, I’m so reliant on others,” Berlanti said during an interview with Variety .
“It’s the long-term relationships I’ve had that allow me to do multiple things, because you have a shorthand with these people.” “I learned that I really rely on other writers – that I can break stories quickly, but I can’t write quickly,” Berlanti added.
“I learned that it’s OK that I’m not great at everything, that there are a lot of things that I may never be as good at as some of the other people I hired.
Don’t be threatened by that.
Be good at the stuff you’re good at, but also know what you’re not as strong at.” For fans who are interested to know if “Supergirl” TV series is indeed good as advertised, the first episode of the show was leaked online a few days ago.
