Apple is usually known to keep mum about their upcoming devices and the new iPod Touch 6 is not anywhere different, as rumors and speculations about its release date has had fans talking about the expected music playing device.
More speculations come from Christian Today where the upcoming gadget is expected to be installed with a new iOS 9, which will also be introduced on its release date this fall.
In line with this, rumors of the new iPod Touch 6 is believed to follow the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus release, where two different screen sizes were introduced.
For the iPods, the source claimed that there would be a 4.7-inch and a 5-inch display screens expected.
In addition to that, the new A8 chip and a bigger 8-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization feature is expected.
“One notion was that since the iPod 6 will use some of the same components as the iPhone 6, Apple opted not to put the former into production until it was finally able to catch up to demand for the latter,” the website posted.
“But with iPhone wait times having finally dropped to zero this month, the iPod touch 6th generation should be in production by now.
And unless Cook is hiding something, it simply isn’t.” That “something” that Cook is hiding, however, is believed by Master Herald to be a water resistant feature that could bring the new iPod another step up on its release date.
“But looking at the present and even recent roster of music and media player devices, it would be nearly improbable to identify one that has the water-resistant feature, which makes the Apple iPod Touch 6th Generation truly unique,” the source claimed.
