iPod Touch 6 Release Date Rumored To Come Alongside iOS 9 In Fall; What Is Expected On The Music Device?

After the announcement of the Apple Watch last month, a new device update is expected from the Cupertino tech giant come their event in fall.

In a report  by Christian Today, Stabley Times reported that the new iPod Touch 6 might be given a release date the same the new iOS 9 would be introduced.

In the same report, the music-playing device would follow the design the new series of iPhones have.

A possibility of two breeds of phones is expected where a 6 and 6 Plus should be to be made.

“One notion was that since the iPod 6 will use some of the same components as the iPhone 6, Apple opted not to put the former into production until it was finally able to catch up to demand for the latter,” the website posted.

“But with iPhone wait times having finally dropped to zero this month, the iPod touch 6th generation should be in production by now.

And unless Cook is hiding something, it simply isn’t.” As previously revealed, the iPod Touch 6 and a possible iPod Touch 6 Plus would have a slimmer body and a 4.7-inch and 5-inch display, respectively.

More speculations and rumors point out that the iPods would carry the latest A8 chipset and would be installed with an eight megapixel camera with the latest optical image stabilization capability also seen on the bigger iPhone.

Meanwhile, according to the Venture Capital Post , more speculations claim that the new iPod Touch 6 would carry a waterproof feature.

“But looking at the present and even recent roster of music and media player devices, it would be nearly improbable to identify one that has the water-resistant feature, which makes the Apple iPod Touch 6th Generation truly unique,” Master Herald  published.

In line with the release date, the new iPod Touch 6 is expected to have a price tag of $250 and a possibility of having a 32, 64 and 128 GB of storage.
