DC and Warner Bros.
will be making a lot of noise next year as not only does “Injustice 2” release date might arrive in 2016, but it will also be tied up with the much anticipated “Batman V Superman” film.
According to Attack of the Fanboy, releasing the game around or the same day as “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” will sweeten things up for DC fans all over the world.
“There is zero doubt a follow-up to this highly successful game is coming, but at this point we have no idea when.
However, March or April 2016 makes all the sense in the world for the release of ‘Injustice 2,'” As stated in the website.
“Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” is scheduled to hit movie theaters on Mar.
Aside from Superman and Batman, fans will also get to see many household names in the DC universe such as Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Cyborg.
To strengthen the claims regarding the “Injustice 2” release date coming along with “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,” Creative Director for NetherRealm Studios Ed Boon teased fans in a tweet last April that something big is indeed brewing for the “Injustice” game franchise.
And in a report by Youth Health Mag , Ed Boon hinted that “Injustice 2” release date might indeed arrive in April 2016.
“Ed Boon, president of NetherRealm Studios and game director of ‘Injustice,’ teased the possible release date of ‘Injustice 2.’ After stating that the April 2015 release date of ‘Mortal Kombat X’ has kept him busy, he responded to the official Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) Twitter account implying that he might be able to attend next year’s event unless they release another game around the same time,” as stated in the website.
“@Official_AIAS @noobde 🙁 Hope you can make it next year! EB: Absolutely! ……unless we ship a game in April 2016 ;)” Ed Boon tweeted .
This will arguably be one of the biggest (if not the biggest) moments for DC and Warner Bros.
as this will not only bring tremendous excitement to the fans, but each can benefit from each other with possible downloadable costumes and contents from the movie and vice versa.
