A couple of iKON members and a female trainee were the latest YG Entertainment artists to be featured in a campaign for the agency’s fashion brand NONAGON.
Rappers Bobby and B.I , who will be debuting as part of the upcoming boy group iKON, shot a commercial for the the brand’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection, reports Allkpop .
The two iKON members not only modeled clothes from the brand’s latest line, but also talked on screen about why they personally love the NONAGON brand and the process of creating the background track for the campaign video.
“The reason I love NONAGON is that it’s hiphop and mischievous,” said B.I.
The black-and-white behind-the-scenes commercial also featured a female trainee named Lisa , who might be a potential member of YG Entertainment’s much-awaited next girl group, reports Soompi .
While Lisa did not appear in a close-up interview, she could be seen performing and interacting with Bobby and B.I.
during the shoot.
The NONAGON brand launched in September 2014 as a joint venture between Samsung Cheil Industries and YG Plus, an affiliate of YG Entertainment.
In December, a similar behind-the-scenes NONAGON video was released featuring Big Bang member Taeyang and 2NE1 leader CL .
As part of its ambitious expansion plans, the brand is eyeing overseas markets such as Japan and the United States, reports KPopHerald .
