Aside from the regular HTC One M9 model expected to be the successor of flagship device, reports are also implying that the Taiwanese phone manufacturer is planning to launch a premium variant now dubbed as the HTC One M9 Prime.
Moreover, the rumor mill about HTC’s upcoming mobile phones continues to churn out that a possible launch window is MWC 2015 set to happen from March 2-5.
Mobile Word Congress is “the combination of the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry and a conference featuring prominent chief executives representing mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, vendors and content owners from across the world,” according to Mashable.
The recent rumors about MWC 2015 launch for the HTC smartphone strengthen a previous Techno Buffalo report about HTC One M9 Prime release date suggesting it may arrive during the first quarter of 2015.
Most of the latest details about HTC One M9 Prime release date and specs came from the popular tipster known in Twitter as @evleaks.
He previously noted that both the HTC One M9 and HTC One M9 Prime “will be the next full refreshes of the One Mx family.” Furthermore, there are also reports noting the possibility that the HTC One M9 Prime will arrive earlier than the regular M9 model.
As for the specs, the HTC One M9 Prime is expected to be designed using an “exotic material: composite of aluminum and liquid silicone,” as cited by DesignNTrend from @evleaks.
Other smartphone features that might be available are waterproof and dust-resistant body, a USB 3.0 port and a Cat.
