HTC One A9 is the newest flagship device that could be the rival to the best smartphones out in the market.
The smartphone market is very competitive especially since there are so many great phones with a whole spectrum of features for a reasonable price. However, the iPhone 6S seems to be at the top of the smartphone food chain with a few rivals measuring up to what Apple is offering consumers.
The HTC One A9 is the newest smartphone to enter the picture and, according to Mashable, HTC’ s executive director of North America Nigel Newby-House agreed that it is “basically an iPhone running Android.”
The phone from the Taiwainese electronics company costs $399.99. That attractive price gets you a 5-inch smartphone with the latest Android Marshmallow 6.0 software and, as stated on Verge , is “the most blatand highest-profile iPhone ripoff since Samsung’s original Galaxy S.”
The body construction of the HTC One A9 has a very similar look and feel to the iPhone S6, especially with the aluminum sand-blasted back, but it offers more than what was expected. It is larger than the iPhone S6 and smaller than the iPhone 6 Plus. However, the lead designer of the phone, Katherine Kim states on Mashable that “The One A9 is the perfect convergence of the Desire and One series.”
Other specifications that the new iPhone 6 rival has is a 5-inch AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 full HD resolutuion, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, 2,150 maH battery that supports QuickCharge 3.0, 3GB of RAM and even 32GB of storage that can be expandable with a MicroSD card.
While the specs are one to look at, interested consumers should look forward to the performance of the camera. The primary camera shoots at 13MP while the front camera shoots with a 4MP UltraPixel selfie camera.
The HTC One A9 is available for pre-order on HTC and comes in four different colors.
