How Sandara Park Decided To Star In 'Begin Again' Movie Remake

Sandara Park, a former member of the girl group 2NE1, will be taking lead role in the remake of the Korean film, “One Step”. The movie is also said to also have Jan Jae Suk. This will be a different movie when compared to the other Korean films, as this will be a remake of an original American movie that premiered in 2013 which bears the same name, “Begin Again”. The American movie starred Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo and Adam Levine. According to Starz Post , Sandara Park will take up the character of Si Hyun, who will be the Korean counterpart of the character Keira Knightley took in the original movie.
In the story, Si Hyun will be suffering from memory loss after experiencing a serious car accident. She will then meet Jee Il, who is a desparate songwriter. The leading man role will be played by Han Jae Suk. The two will then form a romantic bond with each other as they solve and piece together Si Hyun’s past. This will be done by interpreting the melody that she hears in her dreams and sleep. It was also previously reported that Adam Levine of Maroon 5 will have a cameo appearance in the Korean remake. However, this is confirmed to be untrue. “Begin Again” will be directed by renowned Korean director, Juhn Jai Hong, and will be produced by MCC Entertainment. According to Asia Starz , the production company is best known for bringin “Jewel in the Palace” in the small screen. The movie is reported to hit the theaters in April 2017. This shows that Sandara Park is taking the right path to developing her solo career after the recent disbandment of 2NE1. She is currently having various projects in Korea and in the Philippines. With all of these being said, one can clearly see that Sandara Park is making a name for herself, not only in Korea, but in the Philippines and in the whole world as well. Hopefully, she keeps up with the pressure. Let us wish her the best of luck.
