Henry Cavill news, update: Superman is back, as British hunk Henry Cavill is reprising his role in the superhero sequel “Batman VS.
Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The actor’s impressive frame was spotted at a behind the scenes pictures from the film set where he’s seen sporting a tight and fit Superman costume over his muscular physique.
People magazine notes that Cavill “brings the bulk to the Batman v Superman set.” The entertainment publication has also noted that “it seems his superpower is really, really, ridiculously strong arms.” It has also described the actor as having “bionic biceps.” You can see the image here . A close look on the 31-year-old Hollywood hearthrob does show that he has seemingly bulked up for the role once again and his very tight fit costume does the work of showing it off.
It’s worth noting that during the release of the “Man of Steel,” Cavill and the National Guard released a video that gave us all a peek of his fitness regimen.
The actor has undergone some intensive physical training with personal trainer Mark Twight.
Twight was also responsible in training the men who was featured in the film “300.” In an earlier story by Shortlist Magazine, as posted by fan site HenryCavill.org, the actor shared his intense physical regimen to get into his Superman shape.
“I’m training two-and-a-half hours a day, pushing my body beyond its normal limits, putting on a lot of muscle mass and just making myself look like Superman,” Cavill told Shortlist magazine.
“I did two months training on my own and four months training in LA with Mark, and that was excruciating – breaking boundaries I didn’t know I could.
I remember one moment, doing some horrible rowing sprint thing, and I said, ‘I can’t do this Mark, I can’t, I’m done,’ and he (Mark Twight) said, ‘No you’re not, don’t listen to the lies.’ I kept on pulling and pulling until suddenly I realised I had finished.”
