Ha Seok Jin had a relaxing pictorial in the October issue of Cosmopolitan. The actor starred in “Sunday 9:00 A.M.,” which was a simple photoshoot that revolved around early morning rituals and lazy weekend lounging. The star modeled bathrobes, boxer briefs and tank tops by brands like Croota. He enjoyed comic books in bed, strong coffee while talking on the phone and even posed with a fluffy dog.
During the interview, the actor was asked how he prepared mentally for the part of Han Woo Jin in the drama D-Day . The drama is about an earthquake that destroys Seoul and the medical teams that try to help civilians after the disaster.
“I think, from time to time, having imagination on set is the most important thing.” He said. “You have to ignore the staff in front of the lights and imagine that the microphone is a crumbling wall.”
Ha also revealed why he participated in the MBC program I Live Alone . He explained, “It had a wider scope. Viewers knew my image only from my characters. Now, I could show a more comfortable side of myself. And also I wanted to be free.”
D-Day airs every Friday and Saturday on jTBC at 20:40 KST.
