Bad news for all GOT7 fans out there. Jackson, who has been resting for almost 10 days, recently confirmed that he won’t be able to perform with his group due to his health issues. The idol was supposed to be returning after Mar. 19 , but his condition has forced him to extend his rest period until further notice. JYP Entertainment has issued an official statement regarding Jackson’s health. The agency’s representation has confirmed that Jackson won’t be performing with GOT7 for their remaining schedules this month. According to Allkpop , Jackson is focusing on recovering from his illness and he as well apologized to fans who are getting worried about his condition. JYP Entertainment promises to announce soon once Jackson recovers.
Jackson collapsed at GOT7 fan meeting on Mar. 11. According to Soompi , the idol looked pale and coughed on stage while performing with his group. A fan even claimed that he saw Jackson throwing up when he was off stage. Due to his health issue, Jackson wasn’t able to join the after-show event, where the GOT7 boys were supposed to meet fans up close. However, Jackson managed to join the signing session although he couldn’t hold himself together until he eventually collapsed. To show love for Jackson, fans have been sending their supports by initiating hashtag #GetWellSoonJackson that has become a worldwide trending topic at that moment. Now, fans are waiting for further news to know how Jackson’s doing and when he will be returning with his co-members at GOT7. GOT7 has been packed with a series of a tour to promote their new album “Flight Log: Arrival.” The group is currently holding a special exhibition, which started on Mar. 16, to celebrate the release of its new album. The exhibition is held at Gallery Won in Gangnam and will last until Mar. 22. The group released its latest album on Mar. 13 and soon emerged to the top position in a number of music charts.
