After Sony revealed a remastered version of “GOW” in “God Of War 3,” made for the PS4, speculations arise that “God Of War 4” would be have an announcement coming our way at the upcoming E3 2015.
In a report by Sony PlayStation blog , the recently released remaster of “GOW 3” would help them see how the upcoming game would look like in the new PlayStation.
As paying it forward for their loyal customers, game writer Cory Barlog revealed in the post how they would offer the PS3 game for the PS4, as they prepare for the coming of the fourth installation of the series.
“Remasters often help us open the door to new players who perhaps did not play ‘God of War 3’ five years ago, but who we can bring it to on the PlayStation 4,” he said in the post.
“People often forget, the more players we can bring into a franchise, the better for everyone.
At Santa Monica Studio, we’d like as many PlayStation fans to experience our games as possible, from generation to generation.” “Imagine if a game like that [God of War 3] came out on PS4, right,” Barlog said.
“Well, thanks to the fine folks at SCEA (or Santa Monica Studio) we do not have to imagine anymore because God of War III Remastered is here!” Speculations about the “God Of War 4,” meanwhile, rise up claiming that gamers wouldn’t see Kratos in the next game.
In a report by Dual Shockers , reports spun out after a few tweets possibly hinted the fate of the character.
Sony Santa Monica Studio replied, “Yes, the gods have verified this to be true” after a user Tyrantll asked the studio to get rid of Kratos, referring to the end of the third “God Of War” game.
“Please don’t bring back Kratos or Greek Mythology,” he claimed, tagging the director in the process.
“His story is done.” The tweet was reportedly deleted but Dual Shockers managed to screenshot the tweet and reply of the studio.
