‘God Of War 4’ Release Date Expected To Be Announced At E3 2015; Sony Talks About Remastering Of Previous Titles

More speculations and rumors rise regarding the “God Of War 4” release date, as fans anticipate that Sony might reveal something for them in the upcoming Electronics Entertainment Expo in June.

The upcoming E3 2015 is rumored to showcase and reveal more about the upcoming title including a possible release date projected by fans to come out in 2017.

Speculations came after fans saw how Sony’s Santa Monica Studio created remastered versions of “God Of War 3” from the PS3 to the PS4, claiming that they are experimenting on how the game would look like on the PlayStation 4.

The announcement of the remastered version came in via a PlayStation blog  announcement by game writer Cory Barlog.

“Remasters often help us open the door to new players who perhaps did not play ‘God of War 3’ five years ago, but who we can bring it to on the PlayStation 4,” Barlog previously said.

“People often forget, the more players we can bring into a franchise, the better for everyone.

At Santa Monica Studio, we’d like as many PlayStation fans to experience our games as possible, from generation to generation.” In addition of seeing how the game would look like in the current generation of console, Barlog said that letting gamers experience the older game in the newer console is a present for their loyal customers.

“Imagine if a game like that [God of War 3] came out on PS4, right,” Barlog said.

“Well, thanks to the fine folks at SCEA (or Santa Monica Studio) we do not have to imagine anymore because God of War III Remastered is here!”
