Country music singer and songwriter, Garth Brooks, rocked the audience of the American Music Awards on November 23 with a classic country performance of ‘People Loving People,’ a song recorded by Brooks for his ninth studio album, Man Against Machine (2014).
Brook’s performance had everyone on two coast clapping along!
Brooks performance of “People Loving People” at his concert in Greensboro, North Carolina was broadcast live on Sunday’s American Music Awards.
The legendary country superstar who is returning to music after a 13 year hiatus delighted the audiences like only he could.
Garth Brooks’ Performance Of “People Loving People” At The AMAs Luke Bryan, who called meeting Brooks at the recent CMAs a great moment for him personally, introduced Brooks’ performance of “People Loving People” a song which was debuted on September 3 as Brooks’ first single from his comeback album, Man Against Machine.
“People Loving People” was released to country radio by RCA Nashville.
“People Loving People” was written by Busbee, Lee Thomas Miller, and Chris Wallin and the song promotes equality, love and acceptance.

Live got to their feet and clapped along as Brooks put on an up-beat, adrenaline-filled performance of “People Loving People.” The audience loved everything about the performance from Brooks, his larger-than-life presence on stage and the song’s feel-good lyrics like “People loving people / That’s the enemy of everything that’s evil.” Besides being thrilled about two audiences at once, Brooks was also excited about being nominated for Favorite Album, Country for his, ‘Blame It All on My Roots: Five Decades of Influence.’ An excellent achievement for someone who has been missing from the music scene for more than a decade.
It’s been quite a month for Garth.
