Maisie Williams isn’t afraid to reveal the real score in “Game of Thrones.”
The English actress didn’t beat around the bush when she declared that Jon Snow, Kit Harrington’s character in the hit HBO series, won’t be making a return in season 6, according to the Mail Online .
Speaking at the recent Emmy Awards, the 18-year-old star dashed the hopes of the show’s fans of a Snow comeback when she declared that Harrington’s interview with the Belgian magazine “Sumo” was “fabricated.”
In the “Sumo” article, the English actor reportedly hinted that he would be making a return to the show in “some capacity,” saying “Let’s just say that ‘Game of Thrones’ will remain a part of my life for a while. I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over.”
“He’s dead. Sorry. The interview that you’ve all read [and] think that Kit spoiled it is fabricated. It was totally false!” Maisie Williams, who portrays Arya Clark in the “Game of Thrones,” said.
She added, “I think you’re in denial about it for a long time when you see the death of a big character but I can’t help but think it makes for such a great storyline!”
There has been much debate about the fate of Harrington’s character after his bloody demise in season 5.
In the series’ season finale, he was shown lying dead in blood stained snow after being stabbed by members of the Night Watch.
Meanwhile, there is a possibility that “Game of Thrones” star Maisie Williams will star in a sequel of “Pacific Rim,” reported Entertainment.ie .
Director Guillermo del Torro recently took to Twitter, disclosing that he had met with the “The Secret of Crickley Hall” star to discuss potential roles in any of his upcoming films.
“Had lunch with Maisie Williams yesterday. Remarkable. Dammit- if PR2 happens, that girl is getting a Jaeger,” del Torro tweeted.
If Maisie William’s accepts del Torro’s offer, one of the first questions on the minds of “Game of Thrones” fans is: what will be the name of her Jaeger robot?
