G Eazy just announced his new album “When It’s Dark Out” to come out on Dec. 4.
In a report by Exclaim , his second studio effort and follow up to his 2014 release “These Things Happen” would be released under BPG/RVG/RCA.
Earlier this year, Fuse TV interviewed the Bay Area rapper and revealed that his upcoming release would be one of his best work he has made his whole life.
“If I told you the date it’s coming out, I’d have to kill you because nobody knows that yet, except me,” he said. “But it’s the best music I’ve ever made in my entire life.”
He also added how his next record was one of the toughest challenges he has faced, adding how motivated he is to create and complete the record.
“The second album is the hardest obstacle, I think, for any rapper to try to overcome,” G Eazy said of his new album. “But I think that’s where you find out if you’re meant to do this or not. I’ve been working really, really hard on this next album. For the last four or five months or so I’ve barely left the studio.”
In addition to new album news from G Eazy, even though he has played countless shows including big events, the rapper still couldn’t believe how he became a part of this year’s Lollapalooza, stating that those are some moments that he just couldn’t forget.
“This is completely surreal, to be here at Lolla, a festival I’ve wanted to play forever-and to be headlining a stage! It’s tough to really put that in words,” he explained. “You dream of moments like this, and you just try to have fun while you’re here. It’s been a long time coming.”
