Microsoft has announced the complete list of planned editions for the Windows 10 release date, which is set for later this summer.

These editions include the following: Home, Mobile, Pro, Enterprise, Education and Mobile Enterprise.  Although the company has not released information about standalone pricing for Windows 10, it has announced that users of current versions of the operating system will receive a free upgrade.  The free upgrade excludes , however, those running pirated copies of Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Those using older pirated copies of the software will have to pay for the update.  Windows 10 is expected to be the last version of Microsoft’s program.  “Right now we’re releasing Windows 10, and because Windows 10 is the last version of Windows, we’re all still working on Windows 10,” said Jerry Nixon, a Microsoft Developer Evangelist, according to TechSpot .  The Windows 10 Home version will include Continuum tablet-mode for touch-capable devices.

The Mobile version will also allow users to connect their devices to larger screens for PC use.
