Just days after the mysterious disappearance of Freddy’s hat, it looks like spending the night shift at “Freddy’s” is not over.
Well, at least not over until this next game is done.
“Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” is now confirmed to be in the works by creator Scott Cawthon.
A new teaser image appeared on his official website today, as well as the release date which is scheduled for Halloween this year.
The teaser image however is particularly interesting because it looks like after a Spring Trap version of Bonnie in the third installment, a Spring Trap version of Freddy is coming.
If you subscribe to Matthew Patrick and the Game Theorist perspective on the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” series, Bonnie and Freddy have been connected since the first “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza” location.
“Two employees are killed by the failure of a Bonnie suit and a Freddy suit.
Where else in the game do we see Bonnie and Freddy sharing a unique feature that no one else in the game possesses? Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie.
Could this be the origin of the paranormal suits? Yes,” says Matthew Patrick on Youtube .
“Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie are tied to the ghosts of the employees who died in the spring suits.” While the theory that Shadow Bonnie and Shadow Bonnie may not settle with some, based on the tape from “Five Nights at Freddy’s 3,” there’s no argument that two people died in the Bonnie and Freddy suits.
As such, it would make sense that there would be two Spring Trap versions, one Bonnie and one Freddy.
As with every game in the series, there’s plenty to speculate about until “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” is released on October 31.
Here’s hoping for plenty of surprises in the months leading to the release date.
