In anticipation to the much-awaited release of the new album of ASAP Rocky, the rapper revealed the cover art for his upcoming sophomore record.
In a recent report by Hot New Hip Hop , Rocky revealed on his Instagram account the cover art for his upcoming record.
In line with his first release “Long Live ASAP,” the 26-year-old rapper stayed with the black and white photo but now with a tribute to his friend ASAP Yams.
In the cover, amidst the black and white photo is a purple print on the left side of the face which symbolizes Yams’ birthmark and a cross tattoo on the other side.
Meanwhile, in a Billboard report, ASAP Rocky further talked about his friend, who is expected to be his inspiration for his new album.
“I just poured it all out on this album,” Rocky said.
“All my emotions, my thoughts, my feelings.
I didn’t hold back one bit.” “This is going to sound really cheesy, man,” says Rocky.
“But he showed me that there are people who can be born from another woman and another man but be as loyal to you as a blood brother, if not more.
He had my back, man.
Me and him had the same vision, and he knew how to help me reach it.” Furthermore, with his new album, the ASAP Mob member talked about his forthcoming release and told the source what kind of music should fans expect.
“Last time I was more concerned, subconsciously, with doing something mainstream,” Rocky said.
“Once I did that, I not only proved to the world but to myself that I could do anything that I wanted.”
