While the “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequel is yet to get another director after Sam Taylor-Johnson left, fans couldn’t help but speculate about the latest artists who would join the cast members.
It was previously confirmed that author E.L.
James’s husband already joined the high-profile project as its scriptwriter.
“Niall is an outstanding writer in his own right, with multiple established credits, and we are lucky to have him join Team Fifty,” said producer Michael De Luca to the Hollywood Reporter .
Apart from E.L.
James’s husband, fans are likewise wondering about the actress who will play the role of Mrs.
Robinson, Christian’s former molester who eventually became his friend.
Some fans have suggested the names of Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Halle Berry, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Another hunk has been linked to the “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequel.
Recently, Movie News Guide reported that “Man of Steel” actor Henry Cavill might join the film as Anastasia Steele’s boss, Jack Hyde.
The 32-year-old actor will reportedly work with Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson in the film.
The second novel follows the life of Anastasia after her graduation.
While Christian Grey offered her a position in the Grey empire, Anastasia refused.
She chose to move from Vancouver to Seattle and accept a job in a publication house.
However, Anastasia managed to captivate the attention of her new boss which is apparently a problem for Christian.
Christian ends up buying the publication house to protect his lady love.
Producers have previously said that the “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequel could be considered more of a thriller than a romantic film.
Apart from dealing with an obsessive boss, Anastasia will find herself tormented by Christian’s past with his former “subs.” The sequel “Fifty Shades Darker” will hit theater screens on February 10, 2017.
The final film will premiere a year after.
