'Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water' Gives Players The Ability To Manually Handle The Camera Obscura

“Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water” is the next game installment in the franchise.
“Fatal Frame” has been around for quite some time with its very first game debuting in 2001. The creepy video game was successful and spawned three more game installments and three spin-off games.

“Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water” , also known as “Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine Maiden” is the most recent addition to the Fatal Frame Franchise.
According to Destructoid , gamers won’t have to wait very long as “Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water” is making its way to North America next week. The game will be released as a digital-only copy on Oct. 22 in North America and on Oct. 30 in Europe.
Nintendo has even released a new trailer of the game to tease fans and gamers in lieu of the approaching release date. The trailer opens with its lead character explaining how death is always by her side. She is given the “Camera Obscura” that is able to capture the images of the unseen spirits.
While the trailer may be creepy, it looks like the game is not for the faint hearted. The game is going to be released on the Wii U and this allows players to use the Wii U gamepad as part of the immersive experience. Players will be able to experience first hand how to capture the perfect spirit image by rotating the pad like a camera..
Nintendo Life reported that there is a limited edition retail version available for pre-order. Those who avail of this special edition will get a double-sided poster, four spirit photographs, a steelbook cover and an art book.
The limited edition costs around $77.
