Bethesda’s “Fallout 4” DLC continues with Wasteland Workshop set for release on April 12. According to IGN , “… the second of the three Fallout DLC packs announced so far, will be available to download on PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 12. If you don’t have a season pass, it’ll set you back $4.99 / £3.99 / €4.99 / $7.95 AUD.”
Of the three releases for “Fallout 4,” the upcoming DLC is the most affordable. The first DLC was priced at $10 while the third and final DLC for the game is expected to set players back for $25.
So why the price? It all boils down on what players could do with the DLC.
Based on the trailer released and posted on Youtube , there will be add-ons to the game but not much to the storyline. According to Geek.com , “It also allows players to capture wasteland critters and make them fight in thunderdomes for the amusement of slack-jawed Commonwealth yokels…There’s no hint of story-based quest in the trailer that released today. Rather, the footage focuses on the new mechanics and items that will be added.”
Basically, the DLC will allow players to capture animals and even train them for a brutal game. This is where “Fallout 4” again stands out as players will have impressive customization options on what to do with their “pets.” A player can have a very simple cage but they could always elaborate on what it could do by setting up traps as protection or even for capturing more creatures.
If you’re looking to capture and train Deathclaws for your game, this is the perfect DLC for you. According to Game Rant , “The expansion will allow players to craft cages designed to capture anything from raiders to Deathclaws, and then decide on whether to tame them, or have them face-off in a post-apocalyptic fight club.”
