“The Expendables 4” cast perhaps is the most hyped installment of “The Expendables” franchise as one big name after another are being linked to join.

While Jackie Chan, The Rock, and Steven Seagal are just few of those names, one icon that could possibly garner the film a huge audience is boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao.

Also, take a look at his new film, “Kid Kulafu.”

The rumors all began way back in his fight against American boxer Chris Algieri.

While making his preparations, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger walked into his training room to wish him luck, and also to invite him to join “The Expendables 4” cast.

According to Youth Health Magazine , someone from Pacquiao’s camp confirmed this and according to him, Pac-Man is leaning towards on joining “The Expendables 4” cast.

While Pacquiao joining the team is not happening anytime soon as he prepares for his mega fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr., the film has yet to announce an official release date which gives them plenty of time to work around.

Meanwhile, aside from possibly joining “The Expendables 4” cast, Manny Pacquiao will have a biographical film set for release in the Philippines entitled “Kid Kulafu.” The film will revolve around Manny Pacquiao’s childhood and how he became the fighter he is now.

Buboy Villar, the young actor who will play the role of Pacquiao, said he had two months of intensive training and it was very difficult for him to balance his diet while trying to grow some abs.

Manny was called “Kid Kulafu” as he used to collect empty bottles of “Vino Kulafu” which is a brand of alcoholic drink.

The film will be released in the Philippines this April.
