EXO’s Lay Confirmed No Show At Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, North America Concerts To Focus On Acting Career In China

EXO’s fans in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and North America may have been looking forward to see their biases on stage of “EXO PLANET #3 – The EXO’rDIUM” tour that will take place on March and April. However, there has been a slightly bad news that the remaining EXO’s concerts will only feature eight members as Lay confirmed his no show. The unfortunate news was delivered by concert organizer, Dream Maker Entertainment. The agency has released an official statement through their Facebook page. Korea Boo noted the agency’s official statement stated their sincere apology for EXO fans that have been waiting to see Lay in the concert, and the concerts in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and North America will only be performed by eight members. The concert organizer emphasized EXO’s Lay no show to the remaining concerts is due to other commitments.
Previously, EXO’s Lay got into an unpleasant experience while performing in Hong Kong concert, ASZ News reported. During EXO’s performance on stage, an audience suddenly tossed a water bottle towards Lay. Fortunately, the bottle wasn’t hit Lay directly. Fans have been outraged with this act of disrespect and some even speculated that the culprit intentionally did that just to get Lay’s attention. Fans of EXO, especially Lay’s, are obviously disappointed of the bad news. However, many fans understand that Lay has a hectic schedule in China since he’s in filming project for the upcoming Chinese drama “Operation Love”, which is basically a remake of a Japanese drama. EXO’s Lay has been keen to show his real talent as an actor.  According to Soompi , the singer even made a strong point when he started his career as an actor by scoring Best Supporting Actor Award for his role in the 2015 Chinese film, “Ex-Files 2”. EXO will wrap up their Asian tour concert in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore before heading to North America. The “EXO’rDIUM” marks the boys’ third solo concert. Because of their spectacular performance and fans’ enthusiasm, EXO was recognized at the Edaily Culture Awards.
